About Sean Beard

Sean got his start in the insurance industry in 2003 as captive agent for American Family Insurance focusing on personal insurance needs. In just over 5 years he built a scratch agency to over 1300 clients, while retaining over 90% of his customers. His agency’s success came from never losing focus of what kept them in business: Providing excellent service to their clients. In 2009 Sean made a career change by becoming an agent/partner with SentryWest. He now has access to the nation’s best known and competitive insurance carriers, giving his clients more options and better coverage specific to their individual needs. His years with SentryWest have validated his shift by allowing him to continue to provide exceptional service to his loyal customers, be they personal or business. Sean continues to have a strong focus on personal insurance but, also enjoys working the commercial side with local business. His clients include Charter Schools, Golf Courses & Country Clubs, HOA’s, Non-Profits, Restaurants, Property Management and Small Retail. Sean is located in Park City where he has lived and worked for over 13 years. In his spare time, he Chair’s the Board of Habitat for Humanity, Summit & Wasatch Counties, lectures on risk management and personal insurance at Westminster College, coaches his sons basketball team, is active in skiing, golfing, hockey and tennis and loves nothing more than spending time with his family.
